The movie mogul is a board member of Robin Hood foundation, which was founded for the purpose of extraditing poverty amongst less privileged Americans and his first hit at Miramax was a human rights film titled “the policeman’s other ball”. Aside Weinstein being a democrat, he is also popularly known for criticizing the lack of gun control laws and universal health care in the United States of America. Despite his seemingly humanitarian roles, his marriage has received several blows since the inception of these accusations. In 2004, he divorced Eve Chilton whom has been married to him since 1987. In 2007, he married an English fashion designer and actress, Georgina Chapman whom he also divorced afterwards but this time, his second divorce was followed sack letters from the organizations he belonged to and most of his business partners deserted him.
